This research was conducted about “The Influence of Using Apperception
Toward Students Vocabulary at Eleventh Grade of MAN 1 Bone.”
The subject of this research was the eleventh grade students of MAN 1
Bone. In choosing the subject, the researcher took it by using classroom action
research. The researcher chose Eleventh Grade Students of MAN 1 Bone as the
subject of this research and the researcher just took 10 students of the class.
This research used classroom action research. Technique of data analysis
consist of test, observation, documentation, and interview. The test focused to find
out the influence of using apperception, the observation focuses the
implementation of using apperception in teaching vocabulary, the documentation
used the documentation as the instrument, Thus, the interview focused on finding
the influence of using apperception.
The results of the test before doing apperception and after doing
apperception are getting an improvement. The students did not feel bored when
the researcher was doing apperception before studying. Based on the observation,
apperception had influence toward students learning process. Then, based on the
interview, most of the students agreed if a study is beginning by apperception and
the students had much interest to apperception.
A. Conclusion
Based on the findings and discussion in the previous chapter, the
researcher concluded this study as follow:
The Influences of Using Apperception Toward Students
Vocabulary
Based on the treatment, using apperception indicated it had influences in
students learning process. It was started when the researcher met the students
before doing apperception before studying, the students seem bored, but after the
researcher applied apperception, the students of the class seemed happy and enjoy
the next material that had been brought by the researcher.
The following are the result of the test which have been done by the
students of eleventh grade of MAN 1 Bone. There are 10 students as object of this
research. Each student has done the test. The results of the test before doing
apperception and after doing apperception are getting an improvement. The
students do not feel bored when the researcher is doing apperception before
studying. Then, based on the interview, most of the students agree if a study is
beginning by apperception and the students have much interest to apperception.
B. Suggestion
Considering the conclusion above some suggestions are presented in this
part. This research will hopefully contribute both practical and theoretical
values. Realizing that the students have a good interest in using apperception
than without using apperception, in this research the researcher would like to
give some suggestions to the teacher, the students and the other researcher.
1. The teacher should pay attention to the students’ vocabulary and give them
more exercises to speak. The teacher also may give the students some
motivations by being the example for the students. Also teacher could use
apperception as references technique in teaching vocabulary. Therefore, the
student is always stimulate the students’ interest
2. For the students of eleventh exact one at MAN 1 Bone keep studying and
practice their English to be better. Pay attention to the usage of vocabulary.
To face their difficulties, the students’ should motivate themselves first.
Then, study frequently wherever they are.
3. For other researcher is suggested that other researcher may use the
research results as information or a reference to conduct the research with
similar topic with the same method to improve the students’ vocabulary
knowledge.
