The Description Of English Teacher’s Difficulties In Teaching English As AForeign Languange At SMPN Cina

This thesis examines the research on teacher's difficulties in teaching English
as a foreign language in SMP Negeri2 Cina.Along thedevelopment of advanced
technology,it needsfor English become increasmentandit is becomes responsibility of the teacher
, so the r esearcher takes the problem statement about what the difficulties of English teache
rs in teaching foreign language aSMPN 2 Cina by using qualitative research by analyzing data using observation and interview of the teachers difficulties in teachig English as foreign language.Based on the statement above, the purpose of this research considers and input
in overcoming the difficulties that have been a problem in teaching the English
language. The result showed that the difficulties of teacher in teaching English
are lack of basic students,the number of students in class is too much,in learning process
teacher rarely used techonology information and students sometimes feel lazy in learning process.The researc her can concluded there are some difficulties in teaching
English as foreign language.
A. Conclusion
Based on the data analysis and the discussion in the previous chapter, the
researcher concludes that:
Teaching English as foreign language needed any skills. The teachers did not
only teach the students in school but they must be parents for the students. Teachers
have to know the students’ character to handle them. Lesson plan was made to be
used for teaching materials, likes use electronic instruments in teaching. So the
teachers in SMPN 2 Cina had any skills but still got difficulties in teaching, that are:
low basic of the students, the total students in the class too much, Students who are
bored in lerning and there is class do not have electricity.
B. Suggestions
Based on the conclusion above, the researcher stated the following
suggestions:
1. For learners
The learners must study seriously to appreciate teacher’s effort in
explaining the material.
2. For teachers
The teachers have to teach creatively so can face and handle problem in
teaching. When teachers could adapt themselves with the atmosphere of the
class and know their students’ character , so the students’ will get
confidence and comfortable in learning. So, the learning process done well
although there are difficulties.
3. For the next researcher
The researcher suggest to the next researcher can analyze kind and
teacher’s difficulties in teaching English. Research the teacher in other
secondary school and be better than this research. Then different object
likes teachers’ mistake and obstruction factors for students in leraning
English. The other researcher can analyze using different method and
expend this research. So, the reader will get more knowledge about
research.
