The Effectiveness of Beelinguapp as Media in Read-Ask-Put (RAP) Strategy to Improve Students Reading Comprehension at Junior High School

This research aimed to measure the effectiveness of Beelinguapp in RAP Strategy
in improving the English reading comprehension of students of class IX.E at
MTsN 3 Bone. This research used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental
design using One Group Pretest and Post-test Design. The researcher used
purposive sampling, the research sample was 30 students. The result showed a
significant increase in students‟ reading comprehension after being given
treatment for six meetings. The Pre-test mean score was 53.17 with a standard
deviation of 7.130. The Post-test mean score was 77.00 with a standard deviation
of 6.898. The t-test resulted in a t-count value of 16.643 is greater than the t-table
value of 1.699. This is further supported by Sig. One-sided and Two-sided values
of 0.001
