This research aims to improve students' vocabulary mastery by using visual media
with repetition technique. This research is conducted using quantitative research
methods with the type of one-group pretest and posttest design. The participants in
this research were 26 students from class VIII B, comprising 11 male students and
15 female students. Data collection was carried out using tests; pre-test and post-
test as instruments. It consisted of 20 items for a vocabulary test. To analyze data,
the researcher used the SPSS application, especially version 27. The result of data
analysis showed that in the pre-test, the average was only 52.50 and became 84.23
in the post-test. At last, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative
hypothesis (H1) was accepted, because the criteria H1, was accepted if the sig. (2-
tailed) is 000
