An Analysis of Students Perception Using Educandy Play in Vocabulary Learning Process at MTsN 1 Bone

This study aims to analyze students' perceptions of the use of Educandy application
in the learning process of English vocabulary at MTsN 1 Bone. This research
focuses on student perceptions which are then divided into several variable
indicators through interviews and observation, namely perceptions based on
experience, perceptions based on selectivity, perceptions based on conjecture and
perceptions based on evaluation. Educandy is a digital-based interactive learning
media designed to increase students' interest and understanding through various
educational games. In this research, the researcher uses qualitative research with a
descriptive qualitative approach through interviews and observation conducted to
obtain information data from the three participants of Class VIII Digital MTsN 1
Bone. The results showed that most students gave positive responses to the use of
Educandy. Based on their experience, they feel happy, interested, and easy to use,
and are motivated to continue using it. From the selective aspect, students choose
reliable teaching materials and consider Educandy as a necessity that is easily
accessible. Nonetheless, in the conjecture perception, students felt helped by the
existing features, but also faced obstacles such as lack of facilities and infrastructure
and distractions. In evaluation, students found the app convenient and suitable for
their learning style.
A. Conclusion
Based on the discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that
students' perceptions regarding the use of Educandy generally show a
positive response to this application in teaching and learning activities. In
the aspect of perception based on experience, students feel pleasure, interest,
convenience, and they feel encouraged to use the application. On the aspect
of perception based on selective, students stated that they choose reliable
teaching materials they consider Educandy as a necessity that is easily
accessible. In the aspect of perception based on conjecture, it is seen that
students feel helped by the various features available, but they also face
some difficulties, such as lack of facilities and infrastructure and many
distractions. Perception based on evaluation, students felt that the app was
convenient and suited their way of learning.
The results of this study can be useful for teachers who want to use
Educandy as a tool for learning. There are several things that need to be
considered when using Educandy, such as the preparation of digital devices
and a stable internet connection, as well as supervision of students when
using Educandy. The number of distractions can also hinder students'
concentration. Teachers need to be proactive and firm with students when
using Educandy. Therefore, it is highly recommended to use Educandy in
vocabulary teaching. The benefits gained from using Educandy are
significant in improving students' ability in vocabulary learning. Teachers
also need to be more aware of technology, such as Educandy, which can
help the success of the teaching and learning process.

B. Suggestion
Based on the conclusion above, the researcher provides several
suggestion for teacher, students and further researcher.
1. For Teachers
a. Educandy can definitely help to improve the vocabulary teaching process
as it can help to create active learning where students will be more
engaged and participate in the classroom. In addition, teachers can use
Educandy to get students' grades for subjects from quizzes given on
Educandy, therefore helping teachers in conducting assessments.
b. Teachers should get used to using Educandy, which can have a positive
effect on students and make Educandy a permanent learning tool for
students.
2. For Students
a. Students need to utilize their skills in the digital age to create a more
consistent environment and assist teachers in operating and using
Educandy, as this can provide significant development in the vocabulary
learning process.
b. Educandy can be a good online learning media in the vocabulary learning
process, with the concept of learning and improving their vocabulary
knowledge while playing. With the tagline "sweetening learning."
c. Educandy can also help increase student motivation and enthusiasm
because Educandy is a fun and interesting learning media for students.
3. For Further Researchers
The researcher hopes that this research can help future researchers
to conduct research with the same case regarding students' perceptions of
the use of Educandy in the vocabulary learning process or at least this
research can be a reference or source for future researchers to conduct
research with the same case. This research has many limitations, therefore
the researcher hopes that this research can be continued by other researchers
to examine more deeply about this research.
Finally, the researcher admits that there are still many errors and
shortcomings in this thesis, therefore the researcher hopes for criticism and
suggestions to improve and improve this thesis. Researchers hope that this
research can be useful and help teachers, students and future researchers.
