n general, teaching and learning activities are mostly supported by books,
the presentation of the materials by the teacher, and written or oral exercises. This
type of learning method is monotonous. With technological developments and the
internet as an educator, it is reasonable to utilize technology-based online learning
applications, such as Quizlet. This research aims to find out the students dan
teachers perceptions toward vocabulary learning by using Quizlet media MAN 2
BONE. The participants of this research are X Digital class students at MAN 2
BONE who have experienced using Quizlet. This qualitative research used
Observation and interview as instruments, purposive sampling technique was used
to select participants to get data through interview. The results showes that
Quizlet provides many positive impacts on students' learning. It was found that
students and teachers perceive Quizlet as an online learning platform that
increases interest, improves their vocabulary knowledge, and increases their
motivation and enthusiasm in learning. In addition, this research find difficulties
that students experienced when using Quizlet, such as poor internet connection.
A. Conclusion
Based on the findings and discussion in the previous chapter, it
can be can be concluded that students consider Quizlet as an excellent
medium in their vocabulary learning. Their Quizlet learning. Quizlet, a
quiz and game-based learning platform that can be accessed online for
free, fits the lifestyle of students where technology plays a big role in
their lives. In vocabulary learning, Quizlet is used as a quiz and game,
where teachers can provide questions that can make students more
active, create a better and fun atmosphere, and eliminate boredom. In
addition, Quizlet can also be used as an assessment tool, where the
teacher uses Quizlet to check the students’ vocabulary and knowledge
students’ knowledge and then save their scores for the class. Whether
used simply as a game or as an assessment tool, students feel the
positive impact of using Quizlet.
Quizlet makes a very good impression on students in the
classroom because of its awesome features and uniqueness. In
addition, Quizlet helps students in the vocabulary learning process by
improving their vocabulary knowledge, increasing motivation, and
encouraging them to be confident and more active. Students’
vocabulary knowledge can be improved by using Quizlet because they
get immediate feedback after playing, so students know the correct
answers and make them learn more about their vocabulary mastery.

The researcher would like to provide some suggestions for

with the concept of learning and improving vocabulary knowledge
while playing. It allows students to strengthen their vocabulary
understanding and also remember their vocabulary mastery. In
addition, students can also recall their vocabulary mastery. It can also
help increase students’ motivation and enthusiasm as Quizlet is a fun
and engaging learning platform for students.
Quizlet is considered as a suitable learning tool for students’
learning model because students in this digital era are very familiar
with technology which plays a very important role in daily life. For

as it can help to create active learning where students will be more
engaged and participate in the classroom. In addition, teachers can use
Quizlet to get students’ grades for subjects from the quizzes given on
Quizlet, thus helping teachers in conducting assessments.

to conduct research with the same case regarding students’ and
teachers’ perceptions of vocabulary learning using Quizlet media or at
least this research can be a reference or source for future researchers to
conduct research with the same case. With the same case, this study
has many limitations, therefore the researcher hopes that this research
can be continued by other researchers to examine more deeply about
this research. Finally, the researcher recommends further research on
