Hamsinar/882032020059 - Personal Name
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of intrinsic and extrinsic
motivation on language learning in class X students at SMAN 7 BONE. The
sample in this study amounted to 42 people using the random sampling method.
This type of research is quantitative research with a correlational approach
consisting of two independent variables (X1) and (X2) and one dependent variable
(Y). Data collection in this study used observation and questionnaire methods
totaling 30 items and distributed to 42 respondents with random selection of
respondents. In this study, the analysis techniques used were validity and
reliability tests, normality tests, multiple linear regression analysis, f tests and T
tests. The results of the data analysis obtained can be concluded that there is a
significant influence on the role of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on English
learning with a percentage of 27.3%.
A. Conclussion
Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the influence of
intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on the learning process of students, it can be
concluded as follows Intrinsic motivation (X1) and extrinsic motivation (X2)
together show that there is a positive and significant influence on English learning
of class X students at SMAN 7 BONE by looking at the results of Fcount> Ftable
(7,235 > 3,23), with a significant level
