The implementation of “WHO AM I?” game in writing descriptive text at the eleventh grade students of MAN 1 Bone

This thesis discusses about the implementation of “WHO AM I?” game in writing
descriptive text at the eleventh grade students of MAN 1 Bone academic year
2021/2022. The study aimed students’ creativity and students’ motivation in writing
descriptive text using game “WHO AM I”? at the eleventh grade students of MAN 1
Bone. This research applied qualitative research with descriptive qualitative. The data
was collected through observation, interview, and questionnaire. This research
researcher analyzed data by reduction, display, and drawing conclusions/verification.
Based on the results, students have become more creative in writing descriptive texts
assisted by the game "Who am I?". Students find it easy to determine ideas and
choose sentences used in writing. By using the game "Who am I?", students had
develop the results of the game. so this game is very helpful for students in writing.
A. Conclusion
Based on the result of findings and discussion in the previous chapter, the
researcher can take conclusion that the implementation of game “WHO AM I?” in
writing descriptive text at the eleventh grade students of MAN 1 Bone.
Students’ creativity in writing descriptive text by using game “WHO AM I”
based on the observations, interviews, and triangulation that students They can
already create a description text using their own ideas and ideas by paying attention
to the results of the game "Who am I?". This is characterized by how the students
write descriptive text by developing the results of the game. Students have also been
more creative in writing, because the results of the writing mostly have begun to be
easy to understand the meaning. So students no longer have difficulty in writing
description text.
These writer can conclude that making a descriptive text using the game "who
am I?" can be more effective for students. Although it takes a long time, students can
be more relaxed and comfortable in writing, because ice breaking is one of the
important things in learning.
Ice breaking really helps students to be more relaxed which can make students
come back refreshed and happy. Therefore, students can easily think and determine
what they will write in a text that they will make.
B. Suggestion
After covering up the conclusions and the implementation of the research, the
researcher has some suggestion for the English teacher, students, and the next
researcher.
1. For the English teacher
Suggestion for the teacher, I hope the researcher can provide motivation so that
students can be more active in learning. Teacher should also consider more creative
learning methods for students.
2. For the students’
Suggestion for the students, the result of this research hopefully students can be
interact more with the teacher so that they have no difficulty in teaching and learning
activities.
3. For the next researcher
Suggestion for the next researcher, hopefully this research can be usefully to
anyone reference in increasing the researcher knowledge the implementation of game
“WHO AM I?” in writing descriptive text at the eleventh grade students of MAN 1
Bone.
