The Students Motivation In Learning Vocabulary By Individual Learning Style At The Eighth Grade of MTS Al Nur Patangnga

The main purpose of the research is to how is The students motivation in
learning vocabulary by individual learning style. The research method used
qualitative method, which the researcher wants to know the students motivation in
learning vocabulary by individual learning style. To collect the data, the resercher
used observation. The analysis of the data used collect the data, the researcher taught
them English vocabulary by individual learning style after that the researcher gave
them questionnaire and and result of students’ questionnaire to collect the data. The
subject of research is the eighth grade students of MTS Al Nur Patangnga which has
23 students. The result of the study that research students vocabulary by learning
style have a positive motivation on student vocabulary skill.
A. Conclusions
From the result of findings, it can be concluded that the most students
gave positive responses individual learning style in teaching and learning process
where the researcher has provided the method as students need to fulfill learning
objectives and make students can reach the goal of they see in the passage.
Students chose the positive alternative responses “strongly agree” and agree”. In
contrary, this study also identified the negative responses that given by the
students. Some of the students said that individual learning style in teaching in
vocabulary cannot help, motivate and attract them in learning English, because of
several reasons namely; they did not get explanation before the class begins, they
did not aware of class properly and they were not excited in learning English, the
classroom circumstances were not good.
B. Sugestions
After researching the actvities of the students in vocabulary class, the researcher
suggests :
1. For the teacher should be careful in designing the material to the
students. The teacher should give explanation regarding to the
materials presented because the students need some elaboration in
order to reduce.
2. For other researchers who want to conduct further analysis consider
this topic with a larger scope of respondents, to look the students
motivation in learning vocabulary by individual learning style.
