This study discusses the use of blended learning as a learning method to
improve junior high school students' listening skills. This study used a quasi-
experimental method with a pre-test and post-test two groups design. There are
two variables in this study; they are the independent variable and the dependent
variable, while the independent variable is blended learning and the dependent
variable is students' listening skills. The population of this study was class VIII
students of SMPN 3 Tellusiattinge for the 2022/2023 academic year, which
consisted of 60 students. The research sample consisted of 30 students who were
taken using random sampling technique; there were 15 students of class VIII A as
the experimental class and 15 students of class VIII B as the control class.
The research instrument used a test multiple choice. The validity and
reliability of the study used a statistical program for the social sciences (SPSS).
Researcher provide pre-test, treatment, and post-test as data collection techniques.
Blended learning as a learning method is used in the treatment. Data analysis
techniques use statistical calculations to test hypotheses using SPSS. The results
of this study indicate that blended learning can be applied as a learning method to
improve students' listening skills. This is evidenced by the post-test mean score
which is significantly higher than the pre-test (85.33 > 53.33). It can also be seen
from the results of the t-test showing 0.000 which is
