Applying Microsoft 365 Application As An Assisted Tool In Teaching And Learning English Writing At The Tenth Year Of Indonesian Senior High School

The purpose of this research was to find out how the use of Microsoft 365
applications, especially Microsoft Teams in online learning in tenth grade students
of MA YAPIT Taretta. This research was conducted with a qualitative design with
observations and interviews. The subject of this research is MA YAPIT Taretta,
especially the tenth grade. The research sample was taken using purposive
sampling technique, the researcher took one class. The sample selection is based
on the activeness and enthusiasm of students in participating in learning, in order
to provide accurate information about this research. The instrument of this
research is observation and interview. Based on the research results, using
Microsoft 365 applications, especially Microsoft Teams, makes students
interested in Microsoft 365 applications which allow students to do more varied
learning, both writing and other learning. Students' perceptions of the use of
Microsoft 365 applications indicate that learning using Microsoft Teams for
Education is very well used to increase students' interest in learning, especially
interest in learning, especially in making announcement texts based on students'
enthusiasm and curiosity about it. application. And make this application a
motivation and alternative for teachers in making it the right reference application
for online learning. From the findings obtained by researchers, it can be concluded
that the use of this application starts from how students perceive the use of this

teachers apply interesting things in the learning materials that the teacher will
teach.
B. Suggestions
Based on the research result and conclusions in this study, the researcher
provides the following suggestions:
1. For teacher
It is suggested that the English teacher should know the students' needs
and students interests during the learning process build learning interests so that
students can be motivated during the study. It is important for teachers to use
variuos ways or the media according to students needs, in order to reduce student
boredom and to make students more enthusiastic and interested in learning so that
students abilities can improve. It is also recommended that English teachers be
more creative and innovative in choosing teaching strategies to convey the
material so that they can attract the attention of students more so that students can
get good learning, especially in writing. The sequence of pictures will be very
helpful to improve students' writing ability.

As for what to pay attention to, students should practice and use this
Microsoft 365 application to further minimize ignorance about this application,
practice as often as possible, students must pay close attention to the material, take
assignments seriously, and must pay attention if given instructions in order to
improve all abilities not only in writing skills and getting good responses and
grades.

Because this study gives good results, it is hoped that other researchers can
do better than this research and provide better results. So that the Microsoft 365
application can improve students in various lessons, not only in learning to write
