The Effectiveness of Listening to Islamic English Song on the Ability to Write Moral Messages at the Eleventh Grade Students of MAN 2 Sinjai

This thesis discusses about the effectiveness of listening to Islamic English song on
the ability to write moral messages at the eleventh grade students of MAN 2 Sinjai
academic year 2021/2022. The study aimed to find out the effect of using Islamic
English song to improve students writing skill at the eleventh grade of MAN 2 Sinjai.
This research employed quantitative approach. Sampling in this study using
purposive sampling technique, where the sampling technique is to take one class IPA
1. The data was collecting by Pre-test, treatment and post-test. Based on the result of
the research that there is an effect that listening to Islamic English song can improve
students‟ writing skill, however the use of listening English song is not optimal
because it is recommended for teacher to make learning variations to attract student
interest in learning. According to the students, the used of English song can make
learning more fun.
A. Conclusion
Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that listening
to Islamic English song affect students ability to write moral messages at the
eleventh grade students of MAN 2 Sinjai. This has been proven from the mean of
pre-test was 57,812. The pre-test had a minimum score was 45 and a maximum
score was 75. The mean of post-test was 77,5 with the minimum score was 65
and the maximum score was 90. Based on the result of hypothesis used Paired
sample T-test at a significance level of 5% which is a significant value
