The Use of Cartoon Series on Youtube as a Media in Teaching Vocabulary Achievement at Seventh Grade of SMPN 8 Watampone

This research aims to know the use of TV series as media to improve students‟
vocabulary achievement. Data were collected from 21 students at seventh grade
SMPN 8 Watampone. This research used quantitative research and the research
approaches wasexperimental teaching with pre-test, treatments and post-test during
eight meetings.In pre-experimental teaching, The researcher did observation to
recognize the students' problem in learning English then the researcher found that the
students had some problems memorizing the vocabulary. H0 data does not distribute
normally and H1 data distribute normally. H1 is accepted if the significant level
>0,05, and H0 is not accepted if the significant level
