The Important of Using Video Conversation in Students’ Pronunciation at Eleventh Grade of MA Al-Ma’arif Bila

This research purposes to important of using video conversation in pronunciation
learning process. The researcher chose MA Al-Ma‟arif Bilae as the place of doing
research where she took students of the eleventh grade as the samples. In doing this
study, the researcher also used qualitative research. The first research step done of the
researcher was Observation. Before doing interview to the students, the researcher
applied some meetings of using video conversation treatment. The result of
observation and interview showed that using video conversation was importance for
students‟ pronunciation where it made students' pronunciation skills increase so that it
could said that it was important to use video conversations, including; students‟
pronounce by using a good performance, students pronounce fluently and confidence,
students pronounce using a correct stress and intonation. Besides that, it could also
make students easier to learn pronunciation, had a good impact, and in pronunciation
would given a direct example in the video
A. Conclusion
Based on the research question in the first chapter about the importance in
using video conversation in students‟ pronunciation, it is concluded that in terms of
student perception from several other aspects can be concluded that using video
conversation is importance for students‟ pronunciation where it makes students' easier
to learn pronunciation and also can increase students‟ pronunciation competence
including; students pronounce by using a good performance, students pronounce
fluently and look confidence, students pronounce using a correct stress and
intonation. Besides that, it can also make students easier to learn pronunciation, have
a good impact, and in pronunciation will be given a direct example in the video.
B. Suggestion
Based on the conclusion above, the researcher put some suggestion as
follows:
1. For Teacher
For the teachers, especially English teachers, is expected to make this
finding as one of the supporting aspects in English learning process, especially
about how to teach pronunciation.
2. For Students
For students are expected to follow the English learning media
delivered by the teacher well so as to maximize the learning process of
English pronunciation.
3. For Researcher
For the next researchers to prospective researches which can find more
effective learning media to improve students‟ pronunciation and also can
make this research as a reference. In addition, the researcher also hopes that
prospective researchers can produce the better research work in the future.
