This research is an ex-post causal comparative research that aims to determine
the comparison of English learning outcomes between female and male students
in class X SMAN 9 Bone, Bone Regency. The sample in this research was all
students of class X SMAN 9 Bone in the academic year 2021/2022 with a total
of 150 students, consisting of 61 female students and 89 male students. Data
collection techniques carried out in this study were in the form of documentation
and observation, with research instruments in the form of learning outcomes data
and structured interviews. The research data was processed by descriptive
analysis and inferential analysis. Based on descriptive data analysis, the average
learning outcomes of female students were 79.87, higher than the average
learning outcomes of male students 74.22. Analysis of inferential data using t-
