Analysis the Aceeptance of E-Mind Mapping Technique by Using TAM (Technolory Aeceptance Model) Approach in Learning ocabulary at SMK Negeri 2 Bone

The objective of this researcher is to know whether students can accept the technique
of e-mind mapping in learning vocabulary based on the constructs of Technology
Acceptance Model (TAM). The sample of this research is the tenth grade of SMKN 2
Bone in academic year 2022/2023. The selection technique of sample uses the total
sampling that takes the entire population as a research sample. Total sampling that
consists of 50 students to learn vocabulary by using E-mind mapping technique. This
research is a quantitative research, which use survey as a research design. The
researcher use test and questionnaire as instrument, test is used to obtain data about
students’ ability in learning vocabulary using E-mind mapping and the questionnaire
is used to know students’ perceptions about using E-mind mapping that adopted from
Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Based on data, in test there are 13 (26%)
students got Excellent in learning vocabulary, 34 (68%) students are categoried as
Good, and 3 (6%) students are categoried Average. No one of students are classified
as Fair category. While the result of the questionnaire is a significant influence of
each construct of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) showing students'
perceptions of E-mind mapping in learning vocabulary.
A. Conclusion
Based on the data analysis and discussion above, the researcher came to
conclusion. E-mind mapping is a technique that can be used in learning vocabulary
because it contains pictures, text and colors that can eliminate students’ boredom
when learning.
In this study, students respond positively to the use of E-mind mapping
through TAM construction used in the questionnaire. In this case, there are four
constructs to use as 1) PEOU (Perceived Easy of Use) is used to know the perception
of students’ easy which is meaningful if these are used students will be free from
difficulties. 2) PU (Perceived Usefulness) is perception of usefulness meaning
whether the technology is able to improve their performance or not. 3) ATU
(Attitude Toward Using) is perception about how the user's attitude towards the
technology system is introduced. 4) ACC (Acceptance) is a real form of acceptance
to technology, user acceptance of a technology system can be known if users are
encouraged to use, access and create satisfaction.
On the other hand, research also showed the score of students in the excellent,
good and average. No students were to score on fair. It is one form of E-mind
mapping acceptance in learning vocabulary.
B. Suggestion
Based on the conclusion above, the researcher put some suggestion as follows:
1. For Teacher
Researcher suggest teacher to use E-mind mapping in learning vocabulary
because it makes students easier to organize their ideas, easy to remember
new vocabulary and avoid boredom when learning.
2. For students
Students are expected to be more serious when learning in class so that it
is easy to understand the material taught through E-mind mapping
technique.
3. For researcher
Hopefully it can be reference to doing other researcher related to the
recent research and can use this technique in other study.
