The Influence Of Twitter Account @Englishfess_ Toward Basic Writing Knowledge Of Followers At Second Grade Senior High School

This research aimed to examine whether there was an effect of using the
@englishfess_ twitter account on students' basic writing knowledge. In this research,
researchers used a survey method. Data was collected using questionnaires and
observation checklists. The subjects of this research were second grade senior high
school students who were followers of the @englishfess_ twitter account. The object
of this research were 50 second grade senior high school students who were
followers of the @englishfess_ account who were currently attending school on the
island of Java. The data analysis carried out was simple linear regression with data
analysis procedures, namely conducting prerequisite tests first then followed by
simple linear regression then T-test then coefficient determination test and continued
by analyzing observations.
The results of this research indicate that there is an effect of using the
@englishfess_ twitter account on basic writing as indicated by > which is
5.274 greater than the ttable value 1.676 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.
A. Conclusion
Based on the results of research on the influence of twitter account
@englishfess_ toward basic writing knowledge and various description that have
been explained in previous chapters, it can be concluded that :
Twitter account @englishfess_ had an influence of 35,1% toward basic
writing knowledge followers at second grade senior high school, while the rest was
influenced by other factors that were not included in this research by 65%. Based on
the resukt of the T-Test or partial, twitter account @englishfess_ had an effect
toward basic writing knowledge. The value 5,247 was greater than the
@englishfess_ twitter account on students' basic writing knowledge. In this research,
