An Analysis Students Atitude Toward Online English Learning at SMPN 7 Watampone

This research presents about an analysis students atitude toward online
English learning at SMPN 7 Watampone. This research aimes at knowing the
students attitude toward online English learning during covid-19 pandemic at SMPN
7 Watampone. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach, employs a true
research through observation, questionnaire, and interview. 27 of all SMPN 7
Watampone. The procedure performerd through observation, questionnaire and
interview. But the collecting data consist of questionnaire and interview. The
researcher observes students by joining one groups class of Whatsapp students at
SMPN 7 Watampone.
Then, the second treatment is questionnaire. The students have to answer a
questionnaire which consist of 15 question in the form of a Google Form. Interview
method by the respondents in SMPN 7 Watampone by asking the opinion of than via
Whatsapp Chat. The result of this research, the researcher found online learning gets
negative. English online learning make some student lazy, many students ignore the
teacher‟s message, student don‟t understand English learning, network constrain, and
online English learning is wasteful of internet data menwhile, English online learning
more fun, can foster students‟ motivation in learning, English online learning has
make written training in English, become self-reliant learners, and become more
fluent technology.
A. Conclusion
Based on the result of data analysis and discussion in the previous chapter, the
researcher concluded that students at SMPN 7 Watampone. Online English learning
affects attitude students. For example, most of them constrained network, too much
task, hard focus, and make some students lazy, many student ignore the teacher‟s
message, students don‟t understand English learning, network constraints and online
English learning is wasteful of internet beta, even thought English online learning has
make written training in English, become self-reliant learners, become more fluent
technology.
B. Suggestion
1. For the teacher, the teacher is required to design and design light and effective
online learning, by utlizing the right device or online media and accordance with
taught material.
2. For the students, more responding and considering the lesson so that the English
online learing process smoothly.
