This research is conducted to find out understanding English academic
writing texts through intensive reading activity in Indonesian university student
context. The research methodology is qualitative method. The research design is a
reflection study. The participants of this research is the researcher herself, A Self-
Reflection Study. The data collection method is translanguaging analysis.
Based on the translanguaging analysis, the researcher has been pre-
viewing an international journal in reliable resource, then download it in sci-
hub.wikicn.top. Using intensive reading activity while read the international
journal to find out the researcher‘s understanding of English academic writing
text. The result showed that how to write a qualified abstract in the journal. For
instance, the abstract not only concerns to the content of grammar and structure in
the peer-reviewer article, but what the aims, methodology, analysis, and
conclusion (contribution, implication, limitation, and recommendation).
Keywords in the journal should be alphabetical order, implication, aims, design,
and biography. The contributions of this research student in university, in writing,
have to Clear and knowledgeable, responsible disciplinary, and academically
abstract.
A. Conclusion
a. This study instructing to make a good abstract which is can be acceptance
by the logic
b. Understand the journal easily, by the step, viewing the journal in a reliable
source, download in sci-hub.com, translate journal for the first based on
pre-funds knowledge, and for having a good meaning translate in google
translate, if any word didn't match in the context of the meaning, found
the word in collin dictionarry.com, and translate base on post-found
knowledge then, with translanguaging analysis (Mahboob & Elyas)
c. Help student, lecturer, and researcher to understand English language as a
foreign language.
d. Giving support and inspiration to read the reputable and reliable
international journal if will giving responsibility argument.
B. Suggestion.
In this study just to analyze the abstract. Although the abstract already show
the outlines of the study, but research does not continue through part of the
journal. Therefore, thus the study in the future to research all of the parts of
the journal
