The Implementation Of Dictogloss Technique In Teaching Narrative Text At The Eleventh Grade Of Ma Daarul Quran Pajalele

This study purposes to know the implementation of Dictogloss technique in teaching
narrative text at the eleventh grade of MA Daarul Quran Pajalele and also the
students’ perceptions toward the implementation of Dictogloss technique in teaching
narrative text at the same place. The researcher chose MA Daarul Qur’an Pajalele as
the place of doing research where she takes students of the eleventh grade as the
samples. In doing this study, the researcher also used qualitative research. The first
research step done of the researcher was Observation. Before giving questionnaire
sheet to the students, the researcher applied six meeting of Dictogloss technique
treatments. The result of questionnaire showed that the students have received
material about Dictogloss techniques full of enthusiasm applied by the teacher or the
researcher.Then applied interview to the four students as samples. The researcher
could conclude that the students get “good” perception related to the application of
Dictogloss technique in teaching narattive text.
A. Conclusion
Based on the first research question related to the process of the
implementation of Dictogloss technique in teaching narrative text at the eleventh
grade of MA Daarul Quran Pajalele, the final result of this research shows that the
students seemed following the teaching process by seriously. In addition, from the
process of applying teaching technique the students seem enthusiastic in following
the instructions of the researcher. This is evidenced by the results of observations
filled by researchers during the treatments process where there are three main
activities during the process followed by students in the process of applying
Dictogloss techniques in narrative text learning, namely; students pay attention
with the material that given by the teacher and the students are active in discussing
about the example of the implementation of Dictogloss technique.
While based on the second research question, related to the students
perception from several other aspects can be concluded to get “good” perception
related to the application of Dictogloss technique in teaching text narrative where
there are some differences between before and after applying Dictogloss technique
such as; the students are very enthusiastic in following the learning because it
makes it very easy for them to learn narrative.
B. Suggestion
Based on the conclusion above, the researcher put some suggestion as
follows:
1. For Teacher
For the teachers, especially English teachers, is expected to make this
finding as one of the supporting aspects in English learning process, especially
narrative text learning in the classroom.
2. For Students
For students are expected to follow the english learning technique
delivered by the teacher well so as to maximize the learning process of
English writing and also listening.
3. For Researcher
For the next researchers to prospective researches which can find more
effective learning technique to improve students’ writing and also listening
skill and also can make this research as a reference. In addition, the researcher
also hopes that prospective researchers can produce the better research work
in the future.
