Creative And Interactive Vocabulary Teaching Through Whiteboard: A Study At The Eleventh Grade Students Of Sman 13 Bone

Script entitled “Creative and Interactive Vocabulary Teaching through
Whiteboard: A study at the Eleventh Grade Students of SMAN 13 Bone” discussed
about the students’ creative and interactive in learning vocabulary faced by the
eleventh grade students through whiteboard and how the challenge and strange of this
technique. This research was conducted in SMAN 13 Bone. The researcher used
qualitative approach. The population of this research was the eleventh grade of
SMAN 13 Bone. While total samples was 13 students. Observation, whiteboard and
interview were the instruments of this research in gathering data. The result of this
research showed that the strength and challenges of whiteboard for the eleventh grade
students of SMAN 13 Bone in using whiteboard. While the factor by the eleventh
grade students of SMAN 13 Bone were about students had not got many vocabulary
and understanding about vocabulary teaching when it used in whiteboard online.
From this research, the researcher suggests that the teacher should give more
exercises or practices about creative and interactive vocabulary teaching.
A. Conclusion
Based on the data findings and discussion, this research is discus the
challenges and the strength of creative and interactive vocabulary through
whiteboard a study at the eleventh grade students of SMAN 13 Bone
academic year 2020/2021.
Based on data findings and discussion, the researcher gives conclusions
the students had some problems like using the wrong word, arrange the words
be error sentences and still confuse to differentiate meaning of the pictures.
But, students are able to applying with online learning in right way. Be easy to
working the exercise and be fast to understand the materials from the
researcher.
For the teacher still be unable to use the technology to applying in
students. But, this way could give another way to teach about vocabulary by
using short time. Know how to exploit the technology for media learning to
helping the learning process with the students.
Based on the interview, the researcher gets the data problems if the most
difficulties in learning were the process is online learning, the students think
was not be able to get more information about the material, and vocabulary
mastery from students still low so that they must open the dictionary or
translate on internet.
B. Suggestion
Based on the result of the research, the researcher gives some suggestions
that hopefully would give valuable and useful contribute to the teacher and
students on learning vocabulary, especially through whiteboard online class
technology.
1. For the teacher
a. Give a new experience on learning English process especially for
vocabulary materials.
b. Get the new information about another way to application for
helping learning process using the technology
c. Addition the new knowledge on English learning media for
helping the students
d. Be useful for teacher to feel the new sensation on vocabulary
learning materials
e. More selective to give the material and exercise for students that
do not make students be stress on learning English
2. For the students
a. Giving motivation for students to learn more about English,
especially on vocabulary learning
