Improving Students’ Pronunciation Ability through Presentation, Practice and Produce (PPP) Technique at the Eighth Grade of MTs Nurul Aeyn As’adiyah Kampung Baru

This thesis presents research about Improving Students’ Pronunciation
Ability through Presentation, Practice and Produce (PPP) Technique at the Eighth
Grade of MTs Nurul Aeyn As’adiyah Kampung Baru. The problem statements of
this thesis is: how is the students’ pronunciation ability and students’ interest by
using presentation, practice and produce (PPP) technique at the eighth grade of
MTs As’adiyah Kampung Baru.
This research used quantitative method with pre-experimental design. The
researcher applied cluster sampling by choosing the eighth grade of MTs
As’adiyah Kampung Baru. The researcher took class VIII B as sample in this
research that consists of 20 students. The research data are collected by using two
kinds of instruments namely: pronunciation test and questionnaire.
The results of the research shows presentation, practice and produce (PPP)
technique is more effective to improve students’ pronunciation achievement at the
eighth grade of MTs As’adiyah Kampung Baru. (1) The mean score obtained by
the students through pre-test is 45,40 and post-test is 74,30. (2) It means that there
is a significant difference between the result of the students’ pre-test and post-test.
It also can be proved by the sig.(2-tailed) is 0,000
