This thesis presents research about using cooperative script method to
improve the students reading comprehension at the eleventh grade students of MA
AR-RAIHAN Lattekko. The sample of this research is the students at the eleventh
grade of MA AR-RAIHAN Lattekko. They are selected by cluster sampling that
consist of 20 students to study english by using cooperative script method as a
treatment.
Regarding the data analysis, this research were used pre-test and post-test to
analyzes the effective of using cooperative script method to improve the students
reading comprehension. Pre-test was given to the students to know the students’
reading comprehension before appliying cooperative script method and post- test is
given to the students to know the students’ reading comprehension after appliying
cooperative script method.
The result of this research finnally showed the students’ reading
comprehension score in pre-test is 61,70 and 75,00 for their post-test. The data is
analized by using the significant is 0,000
A.Conclusions
The used of cooperative script method has improved the students’ reading
comprehension. the researcher has proved the data that the most of students got
fairly classification with mean score of students pre-test is 61,70. Students’
achievement of reading comprehension after appliying cooperative script method
is significally improved their reading comprehension, it has showed by the data
that most of them got fairly good score with mean score of students’ post-test was
