The Students’ Ability In Writing Narrative Text After Watching fairy Tale Film At STAIN Watampone

Students are able to write fairy tales. Basically, fairy tale is one of the
entertainment media and listener or reader can feel calm and comfortable to explore
the horizon of his imagination. Remember writing activity is very important for
students, the author conducted her research on the students at STAIN Watampone.
Therefore, the author uses fairy tales as a media as an instructional design to create
narrative writing for the students thus this study worthy of consideration and review
for further.
This research focuses on the students’ narrative writing ability by using fairy
tale is presented by fairy tale’s film as a stimulation to stimulate students to improve
their imagination to create narrative stories.
The result of this research is using fairy tale of student story and narrative
writing create effective to provide students understanding so can reduce the students’
difficulties in retelling the story has been presented.
A. Conclusion
Based on the result of finding and discussion in the previous chapter,
the researcher concludes as follows.
1. Using fairy tale of student story and narrative writing create was very
effective to provide students understanding so can reduce the students’
difficulties in retelling the story that has been presented. Fairy tale is
expected to increase the interest and motivation of students and facilitate
students in understanding the learning materials delivered, so that not only
the skills of writing a narrative essay of students who are increasing but
the process of writing a narrative writing followed.
2. This method was very successfull to provide students understanding so
can reduce the students’ difficulties in retelling the story that has been
presented. The film is a very suitable media used in learning with the
concept of learning from experience that allows students to see firsthand a
fictional narrative story impressions, the story is delivered with moving
images so that the delivery is clear.
B. Suggestion
In view of fact that the story students’ and narrative writing create through
fairy tales as one of method has been proved being in narrative writing skill,
the researcher would like to give suggestions as follows:
1. For the teacher:
a. The teacher should be creative to manage the material and the
classroom for teaching writing skill such as using fairy tale to develop
students’ skill in writing.
b. The teacher should give aware to the students that learning writing is
one of skills that important in English Language.
c. The English teacher should apply this media as one of the ways to
develop students’ writing skill to the English learning.
1. For the student:
a. The students of the third semester at STAIN Watanpone have to
develop their ability in English skills, especially writing skill.
b. The students of the the Third Semester of STAIN Watampone have to
manage their time and try to study English seriously especially in
writing skill.
