A. Conclusion
Based on the result of finding and discussion in the previous finding and
discussion in the previous chapter, the researcher concludes that using observaion,
interview and speech text to provide students phonological ability so could know the
students’ phonological interference language.
1. The methods was very effective to know the forms of error caused by the
engagement of the habits of speech into the language or the second dialect,
as well as the addition or subtraction of letters, which is: often occurs in
sound changes [ɳ] in English to sound [n], or sound [n] to sound [ɳ]. The
disappearance was due to the introduction of Bugis language speech into
English usage. In this case the absorption of elements of Bugis language
into the formation of the English word.
2. Interferensi occurs in the use of the first language (Bugis) because of the
limited ability to speak the language, so it is influenced by other languages
or second languages that can occur in pronunciation, grammar,
vocabulary, and meaning. This occurs when the mastery of their first
language system (Bugis language) is higher than their English speech
abilities. Higher first language acquisition caused them to get used to
speaking with the language, and this seems to be the reason why
Bugisese languages are brought into the English word as they
communicate or speech English
