This study is intended to analyze the kind of errors students and factor causes errors in using conditional sentence (in the present). In this study, the researcher uses descriptive qualitative method, which is defined as a research in which the data is presented in the form of written or oral words that is analyzed descriptively. This method is used to analyze the problem systematically. Based on the analysis, kind of errors made by the students in using conditional sentence are omission of some required element, Addition of some unnecessary or incorrect element, and selecting of incorrect element that causes miss formation. Meanwhile, factor causes the students’ error in using conditional sentence are carelessness and translation.
